When ninth-grader and skateboarder Josh Lowman witnesses the local bully, who happens to be the best skateboarder in town, committing a crime, he is torn about what he should do, but his friendships with a fellow skateboarder, a girl in his class, and a cool tutor help him develop the courage he needs to deal with the situation.
