Brigham Young, pioneer prophet

Provides a portrait of the life of Mormon leader, Brigham Young, who after the murder of Mormon founder, Joseph Smith, gathered those Latter-day Saints who were willing and led them across the Rocky Mountains to Utah, where under his leadership the Church of Latter-day Saints brought tens of thousands of Mormons to the American West, fought the U.S. Army, defended plural marriage, and had a lasting effect on both the church and the history of the American West.
