The cursed scarab

Taylor Mason loves ancient Egypt, and has grown up fascinated by the incredible culture. Unfortunately, the nearest she's going to get to Egypt is a special exhibit at the Haunted Museum of treasure that belonged to the famous Queen Nefertiti. But Egypt is closer than she thinks. At the museum, Taylor picks up a scarab necklace during a robbery, and for a moment finds herself standing in a cave, gazing out at the blazing Egyptian desert. When her parents suddenly decide to take her along on a trip to Egypt, she finds herself being pulled more and more into the past, even as she wonders if she's being followed in the present.
