After her parents' death, Victoria Asher tries to find balance in her life, waiting tables and spending time with her sometimes-boyfriend Chad. But when she receives a mysterious package from her law-student brother, she knows immediately that he's in danger. When she travels to Europe to look for him, she runs into Ian, the Interpol leader assigned to the case, who tells Victoria that her brother is in much deeper trouble than she ever imagined.
