Greg is painfully shy, obsessed with "Breakfast at Tiffany's," and suffers from a severe lisp. Under the encouragement of his English teacher, Miss Hayes, who sees something special in Greg, he begins keeping a journal. And befriending a girl named Alice may force him to face his most paralyzing fears.
