Inspector of the dead

It's London, 1855, and the Crimean War is raging. Thomas De Quincey confronts a killer who is targeting members of high society and evidence indicates the killer's ultimate victim will be Queen Victoria. De Quincey, and his daughter Emily, as well as Scotland Yard detectives Ryan and Becker, race to protect the queen. Along the way they discover long-buried secrets that impact the murders.
