Washed up teen TV star Liv Hendricks is forced back into the spotlight fifteen years after she left Hollywood when she starts a new web series to stave off her growing poverty. She becomes a real-life private detective and chronicles her adventures. One day, a mysterious donor turns her onto a case of missing girls, which makes Liv Hendricks reflect on her own missing sister who disappeared after a Hollywood party years ago, and at which Liv barely escaped with her life. Liv begins to realize that the new case might be the culprit looking to finish what they started. Her show is a raging success, and the audience watches as Liv investigates a case that may kill her.
