Izzy O'Neill, eighteen, always thinks of herself as a loyal friend, a girl with a funny bone, and a firm believer that Reese's peanut butter cups and milk shakes are a separate unique food group. So, when she is caught in a compromising position with the son of a politician and people begin labeling her something new--slut, namely--Izzy believes it will blow over eventually and she can laugh it off. But it doesn't. Now, all Izzy wants is to find a way to escape her small town and high school gossip, but when she learns her best friend, Danny, has unrequited feelings for her, things get even more complicated.
