Heiress Marian Fitzwater, wed at the age of five and widowed at seventeen without having seen her husband in years, turns to Robin Hood for help in discovering who the queen has selected as her new bridegroom and when the choice is not to her liking, she runs off with the handsome prince of thieves and begins life as an outlaw.
