How we became wicked

A virus has spread world-wide by mosquito-like insects, and it leaves those infected homicidally violent. While survivors live in contained communities surrounded by insecticide, two teenage girls who have survived the sting without turning violent could hold the key to the cure. But both learn that some truths are even more frightening than the virus that has overtaken the world and their lives might be more entangled than they might appear.
