The second season

Ruth Devon, a former college basketball star, has a successful career calling games on the radio. She and her ex-husband are famous in sports media. When he retires from announcing NBA games, Ruth, who is currently reporting from the sidelines of the NBA Finals, decides to go for his job and possibly become the first woman to call NBA games on national television. Then Ruth makes a discovery that changes everything and forces her to chose between her career in sports broadcasting and motherhood.
