Tom Clancy's net force

In the year 2010, Congress creates Net Force, an FBI agency designed to regulate and maintain the computers that are the new superpowers, and someone sabotages the computer mainframes and kills Net Force's director, Alex Michaels is forced to take on the director's position and find the killers before they take over the world.
