The world's shamans gather in Tokyo for the Shaman Fight, a tournament held once every 500 years to determine who will be the next Shaman King. When Silva, an officiant of the Shaman Fight, challenges Yoh to enter, he does so with the help of his friend Amidamaru. As Yoh faces off against his first opponents: Horohoro and Faust VIII, he begins to realize just how difficult this competition will be.
