Grumpy monkey

Oxpecker asks Jim the monkey to watch her egg, and he reluctantly agrees to sit on the egg but soon gets bored. His friends Leslie and Norman come by, and he explains that he is egg-sitting. They offer to take turns sitting on the egg, so Jim can have some fun with them. At lunchtime, Jim realizes no one is sitting on the egg, and it starts rolling away. The egg lands in Snake's nest, but they can't be certain which one is Oxpecker's egg. When the eggs hatch, the baby bird knows who its mother is, but the baby snakes think Jim is their mother.
