These attitudes have not entirely disappeared, especially when it comes to dating and relationships. However, attitudes are changing. Young people are speaking up unapologetically about what is acceptable and not acceptable in dating and relationships. It is always okay to say no. Saying no is not always easy, but learning how to stand up for oneself can feel very empowering.
