Ty Taggert's anger over his brother's death in combat has affected his usually great skateboarding. With help from his best friend Edwin, Ty pulls himself together for the state skating tournament, where a wipeout threatens to derail his chances at winning after all.

Then, a soba noodle shop opens up next to Kitamura Sports and the owners have a daughter who strongly resembles Wakaba, Ko's deceased sister.

In the third round, Seishu faces the favored team, Ryuou Gakuin, which has them wondering if they will advance any further. Meanwhile, Aoba's cousin shows up and shakes things up on a different front.
