When the class goes on a field trip to the Black Lagoon, the children find themselves lost amidst dangerous animals and lots of homework.

Mrs. Green has organized a class election and instructed everyone to run for something, but Hubey finds himself running for president against Doris, who has bought out the entire class with ice cream.

The students in Mrs. Green's class are excited to hear they will be having a substitute teacher, but their plans for partying and having fun all day change when they see who the sub is and what he has planned for the day.

Miss Hearse tells the children a dentist is coming to the school to exam their teeth and they all imagine the horrible things he will do to them.

Summer is supposed to be fun, but Hubie struggles to survive the boredom and the chores.

Field day is one week away, and everyone has to go, but with crazy coach Kong making up all the events, it just might be a field day of screams.

Break a leg?!? Mrs. Green announces that the class will be putting on a school play. All the kids are excited to audition for "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" except for Hubie. The only part that he wants is in the audience! But you can't be famous if you never even step on stage.

With summer vacation over, Hubie is getting ready to go back to school which is worse than actually going to class because his mom picks out all the wrong clothes, he has to have back-to-back shots, and he hears rumors of a new teacher worse than any other.
