In this contemporary graphic novel inspired by the author's childhood, Dale loves art and wants to be a comic artist when he grows up, but it seems the adults around him don't believe it's a viable job that can earn him a steady income. Dale decides to prove them all wrong by starting an art club after school. He manages to recruit new friends Kya, Mackenzie, and Aren; but they must find a way to raise the necessary funds to show the club is financially successful or it will be cancelled.
