Naraku teams up with a dark priestess who agrees to help him kill Kagome in exchange for the Jewel of Four Souls, and Inuyasha has to try and break her evil spell.

After eating some special candy Sakura loses her ability to see ghosts, and she becomes the target of the A-1 Grand Prix, a contest for evil spirits.

Rinne deals with a ghost at a skating rink and a restless Taoist era spirit, as well as her deadbeat damashigami dad opening a ramen business and a spat between Ageha and Oboro, her contract black cat.

Rinne is teaching the young shinigami Shoma how to help spirits pass on, but he only wants to go after spirits that are out of his league.
