noah's ark

Having lost her family in a massive flood, sixteen-year-old Sebah finds her way onto a gigantic ark, where she must conceal herself from Noah and his family until it is safe for her and another stowaway to slip away.

Presents an Indian adaptation of the Biblical story of Noah's flood, illustrated in the traditional Bengal Patua style of scroll painting.

After the ark is finished, Noah, his family, and all the animals take shelter on board. They try to find the right food for each creature, but the two chameleons are extremely picky eaters. However, when the ark's food supply is threatened by worms, Noah brings the chameleons into the storeroom and they find the worms quite tasty!.

When rain begins to pour with no sign of stopping on the animal kingdom, dozens of animals find themselves rescued by a kindly man in a large boat--but after days and days inside, all the creatures begin to miss land and wonder when the rain will stop.

When frightened animals squeeze into Noah's bed during a storm, causing the Ark to tip, Noah soothes the beasts with a lullaby.

The Noah family rescues animals all over the world when the flood comes and returns them afterwards to their own countries.
