Terry Crews is a new kid at Rock City Academy and he has big dreams to become an artist, an athlete, and a scientist. When a school counselor deflates his dreams before he can get started on them, Terry turns to a bully for friendship and makes a series of unfortunate choices that hurt others. Terry soon repents and gains a new friend in geeky Xander and Rani and they form a group to compete in the school talent show. Though it takes time, Terry finds the support he needs to buoy his chances of succeeding at all of his dreams.
