The tribes of Palos Verdes

Fourteen-year-old Medina Mason, unpopular and unhappy, finds escape and solace in surfing, but she cannot seem to save her twin brother Jim, caught in the middle of her parents' hostile divorce, from seeking his own escape in drugs and madness.
