Saturnalia

Marcus Didius Falco, an informer and investigator in first-century Rome, is commissioned by Emperor Vespasian to find an important German prisoner who has escaped into the chaos of the Saturnalia festivities, leaving a decapitated corpse behind, and his job becomes more complicated when his married brother-in-law, a former lover of the fugitive, goes missing at the same time.
