Death of a schoolgirl

Picking up where Charlotte Bronte left off, this book by author Joanna Slan continues the story of Jane Eyre. Jane marries Rochester, has an infant son, and settles into a pattern of comfortable domestic life with her family. Then a letter arrives from Adele, Rochester's young ward, who is currently at boarding school, telling them her schoolmate has died under suspicious circumstances.
