A routine physical revealed stage IV intestinal cancer in thirty-eight-year-old Mark Weber, a lieutenant colonel in the United States Army. When he realized he would not win his battle with cancer, he wrote a letter to his sons so that as they grew up without him they would know what kind of a man he was, how he lived his life, and what he expected of them.
