Lady Macbeth

A novel which imagines the life of Rue, the last female descendent of Scotland's most royal line who is forced into marriage with her husband's murderer, the warlord Macbeth, who is depending on his wife's royal blood to help him become king--a goal toward which she is willing to put all her resources.
