The helm

Thirty-year-old video store clerk Matt Blurdy, dumped by his girlfriend and fired from his job on the same day, is biking home when he decides to stop at a garage sale where he picks up an ancient-looking helmet that gives him a jolt of magical power and calls to him as "the Chosen One," and Matt suddenly knows he is destined for life as a superhero--even when the helmet tries to change its mind.
