Sean Riordan, a U-2 pilot stationed at Beale Air Force Base in Northern California, split with Franci Duncan four years ago because he was not ready to settle down, but when he bumps into her in Virgin River he discovers his feelings for her are still strong, and when he learns he has a three-year-old daughter, he knows he must find a way to earn Franci's trust and win her heart again.
