Cece, raised in Texas after being adopted from China at the age of two, jumps at the chance to travel back to her birth country with Students Across the Seven Seas, and although she makes a connection with Will, a cute guy she met on the plane, she becomes increasingly apprehensive about contacting her biological parents.
