A fine dark line

Thirteen-year-old Stanley Mitchell reaches the end of innocence in the summer of 1958 after he discovers a cache of old love letters in the burned-out ruins behind his parents' drive-in theater, and embarks on an investigation that leads to the discovery of old secrets, passion, racism, and murder.
