The Debba

David Starkman learns of the murder of his father, Isser, a war hero, and returns to his native Israel in 1977 after self-imposed exile in Canada, and when he reads his father's will, which states that a controversial play he had written, "The Debba," be staged, David stays around to fulfill the request.
