Njinga

"the warrior queen"

A biography of Njinga, who fought and possibly murdered her half-brother to become Queen of Matamba in Central Africa during the first half of the 1600s. In addition, she sold captives from other tribes as slaves to the Portuguese so they would leave her people alone and most likely participated in human sacrifice and infanticide.
