A?oka

Set in third century BC, India. Prince Asoka ascends the throne of the Mauryan Empire after a power struggle with his brothers. Confronted by the aftermath of his bloody war with the kingdom of Kalinga, Asoka is overcome with remorse and renounces the path of war to dedicate his life to spreading the teachings of Buddhism across the world.
