When the Hive's failure to contain the Umbrella Corporation's most deadly viral creation leads to an outbreak of apocalyptic proportions, Umbrella is forced to deploy another bioweapon, a prototype soldier that will kill anything in its path, in order to stop the living dead that are swarming city streets.
