Con artist Locke Lamora, recovered from a caper that nearly destroyed him, enlists his trusted sidekick, Jean, in a sophisticated plot to infiltrate the Sinspire, the most exclusive and heavily guarded gambling house in the world, make their way to the topmost floor, and break into the vault of Requin, the house's cold-blooded master.
