The affair

Elite military cop Jack Reacher, having arrived undercover in Carter Crossing, Mississippi, to investigate evidence linking a soldier to a murder of a young woman, reluctantly joins forces with local sheriff Elizabeth Deveraux and tries to uncover details about a conspiracy which threatens to shatter his faith in the assignment.
