Bud and Laurie have started a new year at Tuckernuck Hall, which brings along with it an old murder mystery to solve: their beloved school founder, Maria Tutweiler, has been accused of murdering the magician Marchetti. But, Laurie, and their friends know she is not a murderer and set out to prove it.
