The cello player

A middle-aged German composer whose prosperity is due to writing jingles for television rather than the serious pursuit of his art, is thrown into turmoil when Judit, an aspiring cello player who may or may not be the issue of a passionate affair he had while at a conference in Budapest, arrives on his doorstep just in time to celebrate her twentieth birthday.
