Having spent his childhood confined indoors with his creative yet highly agoraphobic mother, Will experiences the outer world for the first time when he sets foot outside at the age of eleven. Soon, he is attending school, making friends, and learning to skateboard, but his family's past and the source of his mother's condition soon come back to haunt him.
