Stories of women in the 1960s

Profiles four different women who helped changed the lives of women in America during the 1960s. Betty Freidan protested women being judged by their appearance in the Miss America pageant, Ella Baker helped organize Freedom Schools for the teaching of African American history, Barbara Castle advocated for equal pay for women, and Mary Quant helped women dress for comfort rather than to appeal to men.
