Anna Nickel is a young girl who loves things just the way they are--so when she gets word that her parents are planning on moving the family from Colorado to Kansas, and the school year isn't even over yet, she understandably gets upset. Now Anna will have to handle a new school, cousins she has never met, a lost pet, strange new classmates and townspeople, and small-town church potlucks.
