A contemporary retelling of Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew." Dr. Battista is on the verge of a scientific breakthrough that could save thousands of people's lives, but if his lab assistant Pyotr is deported back to Russia, Dr. Battista will never see his breakthrough come to fruition. Now the future of his work depends on convincing his daughter Kate to marry Pyotr so he can obtain a green-card. Kate is incensed by the request, but her father and Pyotr will scheme together to find a way to convince her.
