Strange fire

After an apocalypse brought on by the greed of man for knowledge, wealth, and power, the survivors band together and form a new religious civilization called the Descendancy. Clive and Clover Hamill, sons of a well-respected Descendant minister, discover a scientific community intent on reintroducing the blasphemous technologies of the past, setting into motion a holy war between the two civilizations that will endanger their relationship and humanity itself.
