The mysterious manuscript

In Scotland, when a mediaeval manuscript is discovered that contains drawings of airplanes, Mortimer Mortensen tries to find out where it came from as he fights irate Scotsmen, wrangles with a time paradox, and contends with an ax-wielding young witch named Blossom.
