Cold grab

Sixteen-year-old Angelo emigrates from the Philippines to Canada to live his his mother who works in Toronto as a nanny. Angelo feels disconnected from Canadian culture until he meets another Filipino boy, Marcus, while visiting the Filipino Community Center. Marcus introduces Angelo to some of his friends who warn Angelo that no one respects Filipino immigrant; and soon, the boys are committing petty crimes in rebellion. When they are caught, Angelo must decide if he has the courage to stand up to his friends.
