Meet you in the middle

Liberal Senate staffer Kate Adams is close to passing her landmark legislation, having fought for it for a year. It would already have been passed if not for the intimidating conservative senator Ben Mackenzie, whose green eyes she cannot help starring at during their weekly locking of horns over the legislation. As their one-upmanship game becomes something Kate looks forward to, she has to start wondering if her animosity toward Ben is turning into affection.
