Can you catch the kraken?

In this plot-your-own story book, it's up to the reader to follow the clues to find out if a giant squid that is lurking off the coast of Norway, a huge snakelike sea serpent that was spotted in the Mediterranean Sea, and the biggest shark ever seen in the Pacific Ocean are evidence of the legendary kraken and other sea monsters of old.
