Lunar boy

When transgender Indu and his adoptive mother move from their spaceship to a new home on a neo-Earth, Indu feels out of place with his new step-family. Lonely and wishing for his old life back, he calls out to the moon, his former home, and to his surprise receives a response that the moon will take him back on the eve of the new year. But as the new year approaches, Indu begins to make friends and feels more welcome with his new family. Soon he must make a tough choice when the moon comes to call him back.
