Slathbog's gold

Fifteen-year-old Alex Taylor answers an advertisement for an adventurer in Mr. Clutter's bookshop window and is swept away to a faraway land where he is charged with trying to find the lair of the evil dragon Slathbog the Red and retrieving a legendary treasure.
