Aurora

A solar storm knocks out power across the globe, forcing Aubrey Wheeler--still reeling from the revelation of her ex-husband's criminal activities and the son he left behind for her to raise--to become fierce protector of her suburban Illinois neighborhood. Meanwhile, in Silicon Valley, Aubrey's neurotic brother, Thom, a wealthy tech company CEO, plans to ride out the apocalypse in his maximum comfort and security desert bunker. However, the siblings' complicated history will come back to haunt them, and at the end of the world the two will have to come to several reckonings before the real end.
